Events & Competitions
1. Electric Glider Easter-End September.
An event for electric gliders is being held as a league competition. It is being run over a number of Sessions It will NOT require competitors to attend every Session. Competitors may only participate in one Flight per Session. Over the season after Easter to end September, we hope to hold at least 6 Sessions and a competitors best 3 Flight results to count towards deciding the winner.
Dates chosen may be weekdays, weekends, or club flying evenings. A Session will be notified to members possibly at short notice when the forecast is reasonable.
A sheet listing the full details has been sent to all members by email, and is available on request.

2nd Session took place 6 Jun.
3rd Session took place 18 Jun
4th Session took place 30 Jul
5th Session took place 14 Aug
6th Session anytime soon
2. Racing Event ***** STOP PRESS !! ***** Information emailed 11/12 Sep 24
We intend to hold before end October, on one day at a weekend with a suitable weather window.
3. Coffee Morning at Shuttleworth
Fri 4 Oct, from 11am Cafe.
It’s the day before an airshow, so there might be some practice display flying.
It’s free entry to the car park & cafe on non event days.
Some members will be staying on for lunch in the Cafe.
4. Indoor Flying Evenings:
These resume in October at Gt Barford Village Hall. 7-30 - 9-30pm
Wed 9 Oct .
Wed 20 Nov.
It’s £3.00 per person to cover the Hall hire & includes tea & biscuits.
5. AGM. 11 Dec 24. Doors open 7-30pm meeting starts 8pm PROMPT.

6. Christmas Dinner 13 Dec 24. The Guinea, Moggerhanger
